Olaplex Hair Perfector Saved My Dry Hair

Using Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 has proven extremely helpful to my hair. For years I have been dying my hair blonde, and I love how it makes me look and feel. However, it does have its downside – dry, brittle strands that break easily. So after reading the Olaplex Hair Perfector reviews, I knew I had to get my hands on it.

In addition to spending hours in the salon chair every 6-8 weeks, I have also spent a lot of money on products that claim to soften and repair my bleached hair. After searching for and testing many products, I have finally found something that works. Though it is a bit pricey, I felt that it was worth the price once I saw the results. Even if you do not dye your hair, this is a must-have.

What Is Olaplex?

Olaplex is a cruelty-free hair care brand. They were initially sold in salons and then were made available to consumers in stores. Their formulas contain an ingredient called bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate. It “reconnects broken disulfide sulfur bonds in the hair.” In addition, it is a “bond multiplier” that limits damage during and after coloring your hair.

Olaplex products are also entirely free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, making its ingredients safe for use on your skin without harming your organs or reproductive system. So instead, you will have healthier hair without compromising the health of your body!

What Are the Benefits of Using Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3?

Developed by Olaplex’s world-class team of chemists, stylists, and hair experts, Olaplex No. 3 has a unique hair care formula. The formula penetrates the structure of each strand of hair to undo years of damage from heat, sunlight, and chemicals.

Whether you have brittle hair due to curling wands, straightening irons, bleaches, dyes, and other harsh treatments, Olaplex No. 3 can heal and protect your hair from further damage. Even if you have healthy, voluminous hair, it can still gain softness, shine, and smoothness with Olaplex No. 3.

Does Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 Work on All Hair Types?

Olaplex No. 3 is great for every hair type, including straight, wavy, curly, and tightly coiled. So whether you have fine or coarse hair, colored or undyed, Olaplex No. 3 is for you. It works to strengthen and reduce structural damage to your hair from the inside out.

If you do not live near a salon that offers Olaplex treatments or if you rarely bleach or dye your hair, Olaplex No. 3 is still an excellent way to get the same results at home. Plus, the process is so simple, and the results are fantastic!

How Do You Use Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3?

Apply Olaplex No. 3 to damp hair and let it sit for approximately 10 minutes before shampooing and conditioning. How often you should use the treatment will depend on the severity of your hair damage. If your hair is moderate to severely damaged, you should consider applying the No. 3 for 20 minutes, two or three times a week.

My hair felt softer and smoother when I used the treatment for the first time. The next day, I did not look like I had a messy bedhead. I notice a big difference in my hair’s condition when I use this product compared to when I don’t. I love it!

If you have sensitive skin like me, I do not recommend leaving the treatment on overnight because it might irritate your scalp. Also, keep in mind that damp hair is vulnerable hair. Tossing and turning at night might lead to more strands snapping off. Plus, wearing a shower cap to protect your sheets is very uncomfortable.

Final Thoughts

Unlike other treatments that coat the hair in emollients on the surface, Olaplex No 3 contains a molecule that repairs hair from the inside out. So whether you bleach, heat style or do not dye your hair, the Hair Perfector will strengthen, shine, and improve its health. This elixir transformed my straw-like hair into soft, healthy locks as if by magic. There is a good reason why Olaplex No. 3 is “The Hair Perfector” since it does live up to its name. Thinking about it, I can’t wait to wash my hair and use it again.
