about

Hi y’all, I’m Grace,

the gal behind Grace Talks Beauty. I’ll be honest, I never thought I would run a beauty website. Yet here I am, and I love it! 😊

As the years have gone by, I’ve noticed things I’ve never seen before, like fine lines and dry, sensitive skin.

Though I thought I knew my skin like the back of my hand, it had a mind of its own. That’s when I decided it was time for me to learn how to take care of my skin.

I’ve spent years and years learning and creating habits that I use to help my skin age gracefully.

And if I can do it, you can too!

My Beauty Philosophy

I believe that if what you wear or put on your face makes you look good on the outside, then you’ll feel good on the inside.

Sure, I love to wear makeup and look pretty as much as the next person (okay, maybe a little more than the next!).

For me, wearing makeup is more about finding the right way to apply it and how to use a beauty tool that can help negate that feeling that your skin looks more wrinkly when you wear it.

When applying makeup, there is no right or wrong way to do it. Whether you use it freely or minimally is up to you. ‘Course, it’s called self-expression for a reason.

If you’d like to know how to create a minimalist makeup look, which vitamins are best for your skin, or how to take care of your curly hair, you can find all that and more on my blog.

A Little About Me

I’m originally from the small town of Taft, known as “The Friendliest Cotton Pickin’ Town in Texas.” Currently, I live in Houston, a big city in a big state.

For more about me, read Why I Love Running. It is a great lifestyle to adopt if you want to get in shape and feel good. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes and the willingness to move a little or a lot at your own pace.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll visit again soon!

XO Grace
