1. Start With a Clean Face – 1 Minute

Before applying your makeup, it’s important to start with a clean, moisturized face. Then, if you have time, apply a primer to help your makeup go on smoothly and last longer.

2. Put on Eye Makeup – 1 Minute

Sweep a neutral eyeshadow across your lid. Start at the inner corner of your eye and use a light, gentle touch to apply the shadow in a sweeping motion across your lid. Be sure to blend well. This is a great way to create a simple and elegant look. If you have time, line your upper and lower lashes with a pencil eyeliner. Otherwise, just apply mascara. Start at the base of your lashes and wiggle the brush back and forth as you move it up your lashes. Be sure to coat both the top and bottom of your lashes for a full, dramatic look. And no, don’t wait till you get in the car to put on the mascara. 😜

3. Use a Concealer – 1 Minute

The best way to apply concealer is with a concealer brush. First, choose a concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your skin tone. Then, using the brush, apply the concealer to the areas you want to cover. Be sure to blend the concealer into your skin so that there are no visible lines.

4. Powder Your Face With a Foundation – 1 Minute

Dust a powder foundation on your face, focusing on any areas that tend to get shiny. If you have time, contour and highlight your face for a more polished look. To contour, use a foundation that is two shades darker than your skin tone along your hairline, under your cheekbones, and down the sides of your nose. To highlight, use a highlighter pen or brush to apply a light-reflecting product to the tops of your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose, on the inner corners of your eyes, and on your cupid’s bow.

5. Apply a Sheer Lipstick or Lip Gloss – 1 Minute

Finally, apply a sheer lipstick or lip gloss. They are perfect for adding a natural touch to everyday looks. You can also layer them over a darker lipstick if you want a more dramatic look.

And that’s it! In just 5 minutes, you can look polished and put together.
